Welcome to The Whole Learning School (TWLS)
At TWLS, we understand that selecting the right school can be an incredible challenge. We also know that few choices are more important, or more critical to your child's growth and well-being.
Our school is named "The Whole Learning School" because we believe in teaching the whole child. Here, we incorporate academics with life and social skills, sensory awareness and the arts.
How does such a method help your child flourish? This website is designed to address that topic as well as many other questions about TWLS. You'll discover details on what makes us extraordinary, our philosophy and curriculum, the admissions process, our students and staff and much more. Although it isn't possible to share everything about TWLS on these pages, it is our hope that you'll gain a richer understanding of this school's unique purpose and perspective.
Your child's education starts with your own search for knowledge.
Questions? We welcome them. Please contact Ann Rooney at A.Rooney@twls.org or by calling (952) 345-2295.
Mission
The Whole Learning School is a private, nonprofit school community that provides a caring, nurturing environment designed to accommodate the individual learning styles of students with developmental and learning disabilities. Students learn how to achieve their highest potential, both academically and functionally, by integrating individually-targeted traditional curriculum with essential life and social skills, resulting in an independent adult life.
